Yuvah’s Privacy Policy
Effective December 12, 2008
This Privacy Policy is designed to inform you how we collect and use the Personally Identifiable Information such as your full name, email address, mailing address, telephone number, or credit card information (“PII”) and non-Personally Identifiable Information (“Non-PII”) that you voluntarily provide to us when you use the Service. The PII and Non-PII are collectively referred to as personal information.
We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect industry initiatives or changes in the law, or changes in our collection and use practices. If we make changes, we will post them and will indicate at the top of this page the policy's new effective date. Your continued use of the Service after we post a revised Privacy Policy signifies your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to abide by the revised Privacy Policy, do not use or access (or continue to use or access) the Service or the Site.
User Consent
By submitting personal information through our Sites, you agree to abide by the terms of this Privacy Policy and expressly consent to the processing of your personal information according to this Privacy Policy. Your personal information may be processed by us in the country where it was collected as well as other countries (including the United States of America) where laws regarding processing of personal information may be less stringent than the laws in your country.
Collection of PII and Non-PII
We collect PII that you submit to us voluntarily when you register as a member of Yuvah. We also collect Non-PII that you, as a member, choose to provide or store in your profile, including but not limited to date of birth, interests, hobbies, lifestyle choices, groups with whom you are affiliated (schools, companies), videos and/or pictures, private messages, bulletins or personal statements.
We collect Non-PII such as Internet Protocol Address (IP Address), browser type, and aggregate user data for all visitors of the Site including members and non-members. An IP Address is a number that is automatically assigned to your computer when you use the Internet. In some cases your IP Address stays the same from browser session to browser session; but if you use a consumer internet access provider, your IP Address probably varies from session to session. We track your IP Address when you login to the Site.
If you send SMS, MMS, or text messages to the Service, we will collect the telephone number (if any) from which such communication was sent.
We also use Cookies and navigational data like Uniform Resource Locators (URL) to gather information regarding the date and time of your visit and the solutions and information for which you searched and viewed, or on which of the advertisements displayed on the Site you clicked. "Cookies" are small pieces of information that a web site sends to your computer's hard drive while you are viewing a web site. We may use both session Cookies (which expire once you close your web browser) and persistent Cookies (which stay on your computer until you delete them) to provide you with a more personal and interactive experience on the Site. Persistent Cookies can be removed by following your Internet browser help file directions. If you choose to disable Cookies, some areas of the Site may not work properly.
If you choose to use our invitation service to tell a friend about our site, we will ask you for information needed to send the invitation, such as your friend's email address. We will send your friend an email inviting him or her to visit the site. We store this information to send these invitations, to register a friend connection if your invitation is accepted, and to track the success of our referral program. Your friend may contact us at help@yuvah.com to request that we remove this information from our database.
We may also collect information about you from other sources, such as newspapers, blogs, and instant messaging services in order to provide you with more useful information and a more personalized experience.
Children Under Age 13
We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 13 or knowingly allow such persons to register. If you are under 13, please do not attempt to register with us or send any information about yourself to us, including your name, address, telephone number, or email address. No one under age 13 shall provide any personal information to us. In the event that we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under age 13 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information as quickly as possible.
Use of information
When you register with us, you create your own profile and privacy settings. Any visitor of the Site can view your profile information and photos that you have uploaded to the Service. Your profile information, as well as your name, email and photo, are displayed to people in the networks specified in your privacy settings to enable you to connect with people on Yuvah.
We may occasionally use your name and email address to send you notifications regarding new services offered by us that we think you may find valuable.
To provide you with some of the features that we offer to our members, we may use PII that is stored in your profile after you have requested such features, for example, to send invitation emails to people that you specified as being interested in joining us. In order to provide useful information about social networks to people who might be interested in joining us, we may use your profile information and photos on the Site when we send emails, for example, when we send birthday reminders to our members or when we send general newsletters to our members. When you decide to view a member's profile, we may show that member that you chose to view his/her profile. If you don't want us to show to other members that you viewed their profiles, you can change this in your privacy settings. When you provide us with your telephone number, we may use the telephone number to send you the communications that you have requested to receive.
Our members can use the search feature to search for other members by different criteria, like location or gender. The PII that our members enter into their profiles will be used for these searches. Please note that if you choose to show your location, as provided by you or by the Carrier of the mobile device you are using, the information that is provided to the Services by the Carrier about your location will be used within your member profile and can be viewed and searched by other members and visitors of the Sites.

Advertisements that appear on the Service are sometimes delivered directly to users by third party advertisers. They automatically receive your IP address when this happens.
